I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to live with chronic illness. I’ve been in your shoes, facing the frustration of dealing with multiple autoimmune diseases, and I understand how difficult it is to navigate the road to recovery. But I’m living proof that healing is possible. After my own recovery, I felt called to go back to school and become a certified Wellness Coach so I could help others like myself find their way to the light at the end of the tunnel.
In my work, I don’t just focus on the symptoms—I take a holistic, functional medicine approach that considers your unique body, mind, and lifestyle. My main service is chronic pain or symptom relief. I am able to do this through building an individualized holistic/functional protocol that takes into account 7 different areas of wellness; Nutrition, Movement, Sleep, Emotional and Mental Health, and Environmental and Relational Health. I include everything in your protocol from cleaning up diet and beauty products, to types of movement, tips improving sleep, etc. Then, weekly, we will work through emotional, relational, or mental blocks to healing. I have extensive practice reading medical journals and will be able to explain and summarize new and existing data for you. I can help you navigate grocery shopping, reading food labels, budgeting, and even finding recipes, as I probably eat or have eaten similarly and love to cook. I will get you on the right path, making meaningful lifestyle changes.
The services I provide
Because I worked in the Pharmaceutical Advertising Industry and studied Biotechnology in college, I am very good at summarizing medical data posted in language meant for Healthcare Professionals, translating that into terms and a protocol that is easy to understand for the common person. I also studied Agribusiness Marketing in college, which gives me expansive insight into food production and therefor interpreting ingredient labels to determine the things like transparency and how processed a product is (aka is it really healthy?).
